- Kelley appeared on this special hosted by Peter Jennings. She asked Ross Perot a question about abortion, which he evaded. I'm looking for footage to link here. The exchange was also the focus of a Washington Post column by William Raspberry the next day.

- No Weiss-Currys actually appeared on McNeil-Lehrer, but in this newscast, which provided an inside look into the college admissions process, Kelley saw her application to Williams College discussed by the admissions board, and got the news that she had been accepted to Williams on television.
