All the guesses are in. The winner will be the person who guesses the sex correctly and is closest to the date of birth. If there's a tie, the person who's closest to the correct weight will win. Based on old wives' tales, there is a 70% chance the baby
will be a girl.
There were 53 guesses. Of those, 49% predicted Deeder will be a boy, 51% said a girl. 30% of you thought Deeder will be born on or before June 29, the other 70% guessed after the due date, although no one guessed more than 9 days late. The average weight guessed was 7 lbs, 9 oz. These results are in line with baby averages these days (although of course Deeder will be no average baby!): 51.4% of newborns are boys, only 30-35% of babies are born by their due date, and the average newborn weight is 7 lbs, 8 oz.
